Free portfolio content generator
Portfolios usually fail at the caption, not the images. The work is there and underneath it sits a job title and a year, which tells a visitor nothing about what you actually did. Give this the problem, your part in it and what came of it, and you get the three short paragraphs that turn a picture into a piece of evidence.
What should it be based on?
The more specific you are, the less editing you will do afterwards.

Questions about this tool
What should I write under a portfolio project?
The problem, what you did, and what happened. That order matters: a visitor cannot judge the work until they know what it was for. Most portfolio captions skip straight to the what, which is why so many of them read as a list of deliverables rather than as evidence of judgement.
What if I cannot share the results?
Leave the outcome field blank and the write-up ends on what the work made possible instead. That is a normal situation — plenty of work is under NDA or predates anyone measuring it — and it is much better than an invented number. Nothing is fabricated to fill the gap.
How do I describe work I did as part of a team?
Say what the team did, then what you did inside it, and the tool keeps that distinction where your notes make it. Overclaiming is the fastest way to lose a portfolio review, because the follow-up question is always about a detail only the person who actually did the work would know.
